The Consulate of St Kitts and Nevis in Toronto, with the support of the High Commission in Ottawa, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Tourism, encourages Nationals in the diaspora to apply in its ongoing Citizenship by Descent Drive. The Consulate extended the deadline to receive applications to September 22, 2023. One (1) successful applicant will have the opportunity to win two (2) airfare tickets to the Federation, accommodation, and excursions while on the islands. The draw date will coincide with the 40th Anniversary of Independence celebrations as the nation reflects on its long, rich history from slavery to colonization and the smallest independent sovereign nation in the western hemisphere.
The Citizenship by Descent Drive targets 1st and 2nd generation Canadians living outside but with connections to St Kitts and Nevis.
The drive aims to create opportunities for youths to strengthen the bond between their birthland and the Federation and contribute to developing a resilient, sustainable island state.
