Notice: Registration Still Open for Summer 2026 ICH Core Knowledge Transfer Camp 

The Department of Cultural Heritage continues to invite registration for its ICH Core Knowledge Transfer Camp that runs from Monday, July 27th, to Friday, July 31st, 2026 from 8:30 am to 2:30 p.m. at the St. Johnson’s Community Centre, Basseterre. 

For a fee of only $45, parents and guardians of children aged 8 to 16 can register and empower their children with the skill of crafting of folklore props and accessories such as Moko Jumbie stilts, the bull horn headpiece, gubbie face, and the masquerade headpiece. Lunch will also be provided. This year the Christmas session of the Culture Camp will be reserved for the teaching of performances, culminating with parading in the Junior Carnival Parade. 

Registration Forms are available at the Department of Cultural Heritage, Victoria Road (the building behind the Parking Lot next to the Leonie James Preschool) Basseterre, St. Kitts. Space is limited so register by Thursday, July 23rd, 2026.
