Prime Minister Drew to Attend 51st CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting in St. Lucia and ECCB 113th Monetary Council Meeting in Dominica
Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 3, 2026 (PMO) — Prime Minister the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew will travel to St. Lucia on July 5 to attend the 51st Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM, where regional leaders will deliberate on key issues including economic development, regional security, climate resilience, food security, trade, and regional integration.
The meeting will also mark the formal transition of the Chairmanship of CARICOM, with Prime Minister of St. Lucia, Hon. Philip J. Pierre, assuming the role of Chairman of the Conference of Heads of Government from Prime Minister Drew.
Following the CARICOM meeting, Prime Minister Drew will travel to Dominica on July 9 to participate in the 113th Meeting of the Monetary Council of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB). He will be joined by Financial Secretary Mr. Carlton Pogson.
The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis remains committed to active engagement in regional decision-making to advance economic resilience, sustainable development, and greater opportunities for the people of the Federation.
