VACANCY NOTICE – FORCE FINANCE OFFICER
The Human Resource Management Department on behalf of the Ministry of Public National Security, Citizenship and Immigration wishes to invite suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Force Finance Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a three (3) year rolling Finance Plan for the Police Force
Prepare detailed annual budgets
Efficiently monito and control any expenditure relating to the Police Force
Produce regular and accurate reports
Monitor suppliers of items to the Police Force and related activities to ensure proper accountability and value of such items
Provide supervision and guidance to the Finance Officers and ITMS Staff across the Ministry
Perform other duties as assigned by the Commissioner of Police or the Permanent Secretary
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field
At least five (5) years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a finance/accounting environment
Knowledge & Skills:
In addition to the requirements above, the post holder must have the following skills:
A strong grasp of Microsoft Suite
Knowledge of the Intelligence Treasury Management System (ITMS) and Budget preparation will be an asset
An excellent grasp of the English language
An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary: (K33-38) ($64,092-78,768) per annum
