The Medicinal Cannabis Authority is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Attendant to support the daily operations of our office. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for both staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to confidentiality and compliance within the medicinal cannabis sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Manage incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including common areas and meeting rooms.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of office materials and supplies.
Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document management.
Support staff with scheduling and coordinating meetings or appointments.
Assist in maintaining records related to inquiries from the public and office operations.
Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Deliver and collect mail or packages on behalf of the Authority
Collaborate with team members to improve office efficiency and workflow.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s license with minimum three years’ experience as a licensed driver
Previous experience in an office or administrative role is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to compliance regulations.
Successful candidate must be trustworthy, honest, reliable, responsible and well-mannered
Salary will be based on qualifications of the successful candidate. The annual salary can range from K16 to K21.
