CIU invests in SKN nationals at home and abroad through conference sponsorship
In September, the CIU sponsored the second Diaspora Conference hosted in St Kitts and Nevis under the theme “The Diaspora and Our Culture.”
This four-day event, which attracted more than 100 delegates from attendees across the UK, the US, Canada, and the regional diaspora, provided a platform for the exchange of ideas from a cross section of SKN citizens at home and abroad. The speaker line up comprised experts spanning investments, education, healthcare, technology, renewable energy, and many others.
Commenting on the conference, His Excellency and Chairman of the Citizenship By Investment Unit (CIU), Mr. Calvin St. Juste, who also participated in a panel on wealth and investment building, said: “we believe that by fostering collaboration and encouraging investment from our diaspora, we can unlock new opportunities for growth, innovation, and cultural exchange. This sponsorship reflects our commitment to supporting initiatives that empower our diaspora, our investors and our citizens and enhance their contributions to the development of St. Kitts and Nevis.”
As the CIU transitions into a new era, marked by a greater focus on accountability, professionalism, communication, governance, transparency, and sustainable leadership, it remains committed to fostering partnerships both at home and abroad, with a view to transforming the federation’s economic landscape and deepening diaspora relationships.
