MINIWIZ, renowned for turning waste into valuable recycled materials and creating their own building materials from softer, reusable substances, presented a compelling case for partnership with the twin-island Federation.
During the visit, Prime Minister Dr. Drew expressed St. Kitts and Nevis’ keen interest in having MINIWIZ undertake projects in housing, recycling and healthcare within the Federation. He highlighted the government’s intention to construct a smart hospital and emphasised how MINIWIZ products could significantly contribute to its development.

Their practical approach and sustainable solutions are exactly what we need to construct a truly great hospital.”
Dr. Frank Laws, Special Envoy for Healthcare and a key member of the delegation, interacted with the MINIWIZ team to explore the possibility of erecting a catheterization laboratory (Cath lab) in St. Kitts and Nevis using MINIWIZ’s modular approach.
The discussions also touched on the cost implications and the ability of MINIWIZ’s materials to withstand hurricanes and earthquakes, ensuring that any developments would be resilient and sustainable. The response from MINIWIZ was overwhelmingly favourable, with the company expressing a strong interest in collaborating with the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Prime Minister Dr. Drew further inquired about MINIWIZ’s operations outside Taiwan. He was informed that 70% of their work is conducted globally, indicating their extensive experience and capacity to manage international projects.
“Their involvement in St. Kitts and Nevis will not only benefit our nation but also serve as a model for other regions looking to adopt sustainable building practices,” he said.
The visit concluded with both parties opening the floor for further discussions, establishing a promising foundation for future collaboration.
