PRIME MINISTER DR. DREW ATTENDS RUSVM COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY IN MIAMI

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 17, 2024 (SKNIS): Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, the Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew, is currently off-island attending the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) Commencement Ceremony in Miami, U.S.A. today, May 17.

This significant event celebrates the achievements of graduates who have earned their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Master of Science by Research, Master of Science by Coursework in One Health, or PhD degrees.

Prime Minister Drew was invited by Dr. Sean Callanan, Dean of RUSVM. Dr. Drew said that he is honoured to be a member of the platform party and is looking forward to delivering remarks to the graduates. In his remarks, the prime minister is expected to emphasise the importance of their accomplishments and the role of education in driving positive change.

“It is a privilege to join this esteemed gathering and to witness the conferral of degrees upon these deserving graduates. Their dedication and hard work have prepared them to make significant contributions to the field of veterinary medicine and beyond,” stated Prime Minister Drew. “RUSVM’s presence in St. Kitts is a testament to the strong ties between our Federation and the educational institution, and our shared commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation.”
