CFBC WELCOMES MS. SHERYL HARTY, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS, WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY
Basseterre, St. Kitts, 22 March 2024: The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC), the Federation’s only indigenous tertiary institution welcomes Ms. Sheryl Harty, Assistant Director, International Admissions from Western Illinois University (WIU).
A public higher education institution with a rich history, WIU offers a diverse range of academic programmes and provides accessible, high-quality education to students worldwide. WIU provides students with access to resources to achieve their academic and career goals.
Ms. Harty will be on-site to engage with various internal stakeholders at CFBC, providing valuable insights into the admissions process for CFBC students and alumni transitioning to WIU.
During her visit, Ms. Harty will conduct on-the-spot admissions for interested students and recent graduates. This presents a unique opportunity for individuals to meet one-on-one with her, armed with their transcripts, and essentially complete the admissions process to WIU. Furthermore, Ms. Harty will provide crucial information about scholarship awards available to CFBC students seeking admission to WIU.
In addition to individual meetings, there will be a public engagement session where Ms. Harty will present information about the admissions process for WIU, address questions and clarify ideas related to the admission of CFBC students and alumni to WIU. This interactive session will take
place virtually via Zoom on Tuesday, 26 March, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The CFBC and WIU have a partnership, solidified by a memorandum of understanding. This agreement facilitates a seamless transition from CFBC to WIU, offering students unparalleled opportunities for academic and personal growth, along with access to various scholarships.
