Job Vacancy: Force Personnel Officer – Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force

The Ministry of National Security et al. is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Force Personnel Officer (FPO) assigned to the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force.  The FPO performs administrative functions and is coordinator of capacity building initiatives, training and professional development for law enforcement personnel. 

The responsibilities of the FPO include providing full personnel service to the Police Force, develop personnel policies to assist in achieving its operational objectives or goals, and ensuring transparency of the application process for those desirous of making a career in the area of policing.

The FPO must possess post graduate qualifications in the area of Business Administration/Management, Human Resources Management or a closely related field.  Additionally, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the field would be an asset.

Applications must be accompanied by a curriculum vitae, reference to language proficiency and two references.

The deadline for applications is 13th March 2024 (no later than 4:00 p.m.), and they must be submitted to The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of National Security et al, Basseterre, St Kitts, or emailed to cecile.hull@police.kn.  No late submissions will be accepted.
