DEPARTMENT OF MARINE RESOURCES ST. KITTS AND NEVIS (DMR) TO HOST A SERIES OF CONSULTATIONS TO UPDATE FISHING COMMUNITY
(MOA, St. Kitts, February 13, 2024):
The Department of Marine Resources, St. Kitts is gearing up to host a series of consultations to inform stakeholders and fishers about its upcoming activities and transformational plan in 2024.
These meetings are aimed to facilitate stakeholders and fishers providing feedback and airing there concerns in regard to these activities.
Topics to be presented include Fish Aggregating Device (F.A.D) Program, Basic fisher Training course, Fisheries, Aquaculture & Marine Resources Act Regulations and Remote Vessel Monitoring Program.
Stakeholders and Fishers are asked to take note of the following venue, date and time:
Nevis Disaster Management – Thursday 15th February, 2024 5:00 PM.
Department of Marine Resources – Tuesday 20th February, 2024 5:00 PM.
Old Road Fisheries Complex – Thursday 22nd February, 2024 5:00 PM.
Sandy Point community Center – Tuesday 27th February, 2024 5:00 PM.
Temple Church Dieppe Bay – Thursday 29th February, 2024 5:00 PM.
