President Nicolás Maduro congratulates Terrance Drew on electoral victory as Prime Minister of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, today
held a phone call with the Prime Minister of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dr.
Terrance Drew, who was elected in the elections on August 5, 2022, with the purpose of
extending his cordial congratulations on his victory, as well as to the San Cristobaleño
people for the successful election day.

During his conversation, the Head of State conveyed to the Prime Minister of Saint Kitts
and Nevis, the willingness of the Government of Venezuela to continue providing its
solidarity cooperation through the Petrocaribe Energy Supply Agreement, as well as the
implementation of agri-food projects, regional air interconnection, among other airlines,
with Rnancing from the Banco del Alba.

He also told the digniRed people of Saint Kitts and Nevis that the helping hand of our
country will always be extended for our brothers in the Caribbean, this being an
indispensable part of the historical legacy left to us by our Commander Hugo Chávez.
Finally, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reiterated his willingness to
work constructively with the new Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis, in order to
develop a comprehensive bilateral relationship, characterized by cooperation and
brotherhood, through mechanisms such as the Petrocaribe Agreement and ALBA-TCP, in
order to continue promoting and consolidating regional integration and the well-being of
the Latin American.
